These instructions cover how to map a drive in Windows, specifically a file share. The example used in this article is for the iTech file share. Replace 'itech' with the name of your file share.
Open File Explorer. Click This PC. Click Map network Drive.
Type in path to folder: \\usm.golden.eagles\pub\itech
Check boxes for: “Reconnect at sign-in” & “Connect using different credentials.” Click Finish.
Username will be: usm\wEmplid. The password will be your CampusID password. Click OK to close the box.
The drive should now show up under “This PC,” “Network locations.”
